Common Disney Acronyms and Abbreviations

For Disney experts, it is very common to simply use acronyms when talking about rides or parks but, if you’re new to the online Disney community, all those abbreviations can get a little confusing. To help you navigate Disney websites better, I compiled a list of the most common Disney acronyms and abbreviations you usually find online so that you can understand what all the Disney parks fans are talking about.

Some of these acronyms are so popular that I’m sure you already know them. WDW, for example, stands for Walt Disney World, and DLP stands for Disneyland Paris. But some, you might not even know are actually abbreviations. Take EPCOT for example, it stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow.
