Seeing as yesterday was the 35th anniversary of The Little Mermaid, it was only fitting to celebrate with pictures of a meet with an Ariel bound 🤭. I’ve never shared this but the Mouseversary has a special meaning for me because it was the beginning of my Disneyland Paris journey. It was because of Mickey’s (and Minnie’s) 90th that I decided to get my very first Annual Pass and it marked the beginning of all the incredible magic that I’ve lived and continue to live at Disney. 🚢 Disney Cruise ✨Wonder✨ Day 1, Australia. Our very first day of our very first Disney cruise was full of excitement and exploring. I got some great trips (like going straight to deck 9 after the security briefing to grab a spot for the Sail A-Wave Party) but I also made some newbie mistakes👇🏼 I had no idea that I could see all the activities and meets scheduled for every day of my trip on the app so my first day was LOADED with stuff to do and character meets because I was scared to miss out not knowing if they would do them again. Our first order of business was securing a Disney trivia medal and, although we lost by one point the first time around (we got 17/20), we won the second one and got the extremely awesome Cruise Medal 🏅 As I usually do at the parks with meets, I lined up for Cinderella about 20 min before she came out so I could then head on to meet Mickey and Minnie. We stumbled upon Goofy roaming around deck 4 and learned that characters are often around that area unscheduled. Since it was Halloween, we wanted to give a bit of pixie dust back to the amazing CMs so we took my jack-o-lantern everywhere and offered everyone treats. We got ready for our first dinner at Triton’s which was good but my least favorite. We had no idea how fancy we had to dress up for dinner so we actually took a dress and suit we never wore 😂 because it looked like too much. We ended the night with some karaoke, a silent party, drinks, and the chocolates that were left in our bed 🤭. 🚢 It’s embarkation day! ✨ I can’t believe I’m about to go on the Wonder, my very first cruise ever and it HAD to be @disneycruiselineaunz of course. This week has been an emotional wind whirl; I have to leave my dear Aussie so I had to hand in the keys to my apartment but luckily I’m leaving Brissy on the cruise, and we all know Disney is the best medicine for the blues. Something spooky is going on at Boot Hill in Disneyland Paris 🎃👻. If you ever visit, make sure to find the large metal sarcophagus at the exit of Phantom Manor. Press your ear against it and prepare for your heart to skip a beat… chills guaranteed! 😱 For Halloween, I took Pegasus from Hercules on a ghostly adventure through Thunder Mesa, but the highlight was meeting Melanie Ravenswood herself, the heir to Phantom Manor.
